Why Broadway

Presence is part of the performance.

Who we are

Broadway is a marketing and customer acquisition company in New York City. We represent client brands in person — at events, activations, retail environments and community programs — and we build the teams who do it.

We’re not a media buyer and we’re not an ad shop. Our work begins where a scroll ends: a real conversation, in a real place, with somebody who could genuinely use what our client sells.

Attention is only the beginning. The goal is an interaction worth remembering.

What we believe
01

Preparation

You don't improvise the fundamentals.

02

Presence

When you're in front of people, be fully there.

03

Timing

Knowing when to speak matters as much as knowing what to say.

04

Ensemble

Strong performances aren't built alone.

05

Adaptability

Every audience teaches you something.

06

Accountability

Own your part of the production.

How we work

Trained people, in the right room, on purpose.

Every campaign gets a brief, a territory, a staffing plan and a standard for what good looks like. Reps rehearse the product before they represent it. Managers work the same environments they coach in.

Feedback is same-day, specific, and given by someone who was there. That’s the whole method — repeated, in public, until it’s reliable.

Why face-to-face still matters

People remember how a brand made them feel, and almost nothing makes someone feel anything faster than another person paying attention to them. A good rep can read hesitation, answer the unasked question, and adjust in a way no funnel can.

It also can’t be faked at scale. Which is exactly why it works.

Why New York

New York rewards preparation and punishes hesitation. Neighborhoods change character every ten blocks, audiences are fluent in being marketed to, and nobody gives you a second minute out of politeness.

A team that can hold a conversation here can hold one anywhere.

Our standards
  • We represent a client the way we'd want our own name represented.
  • We tell clients what actually happened in the field, including the parts that didn't work.
  • We don't put anyone in front of the public before they're ready.
  • We compete hard with each other and take care of each other.
